Zohra Womack, PMP, is Executive Director of Clinical Operations, overseeing the operational execution and study management for Visus Therapeutics’ emerging pipeline.  Zohra has two decades of clinical operations and clinical research experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, most recently serving as Associate Director, Global Site Management Operations at Allergan, Inc. where she led cross-functional efforts to identify and manage study and site-level risks, and to identify and implement risk mitigation strategies. Her expertise includes management of global and domestic clinical trials, clinical operations oversight, site budget and contract negotiation, vendor selection and management across a broad range of therapeutic industries, with a focus on ophthalmology.  Prior to Allergan, Zohra held a variety of roles at JANIX BioSciences, including Director, Clinical Research.

Zohra holds a B.S. in Chemistry from California State University San Marcos.  She is a Certified Project Management Professional and holds Professional Certificates in Clinical Trials Design and Management and Project Management.
