Sarah brings over 15 years of clinical research experience, with 13 years focused primarily on ophthalmology.  As a clinical research coordinator at Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates (CEENTA), Sarah coordinated Phase I-IV ophthalmology clinical trials, including trials for glaucoma, dry eye disease, multiple diabetic eye diseases, wet and dry AMD, uveitis, and a variety of other ophthalmology eye conditions.  She also coordinated a variety of otolaryngology studies during her time at CEENTA.  For just under two years, Sarah then coordinated various Phase II-IV gastroenterology trials, including trials for ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, celiac disease, NASH, and colon cancer screening at Charlotte Gastroenterology and Hepatology.  Sarah returned to CEENTA most recently as the Director of Clinical Research where she managed a team of six clinical research coordinators and one administrative assistant.  Sarah was responsible for the oversight of approximately 30-35 clinical trials with a primary focus on ophthalmology.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
