Matthew Chang joined Visus in April 2021 with over 10 years of experience in the medical device and OTC pharmaceutical industry. In Matthew’s most recent role as Sr. Project Manager at Hyland’s, he led cross-functional teams through the new product development process for solid dose, liquid, and topical OTC products manufactured by contract development and manufacturing organizations. He also led numerous projects, including tech transfers, third party logistics, and strategic sourcing, to optimize manufacturing operations and the end-to-end supply chain.

Matthew previously served as an R&D Program Engineer at Abbott Medical Optics, where he led the product development of numerous ophthalmic medical devices through all phases of design control. He holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.
